Installing FlipSlide takes just a few minutes. Once it's added to your Shopify store, you can start creating image comparison sliders right away.
How to Install
- Visit the FlipSlide listing on the Shopify App Store
- Click Add app and follow the prompts to authorize FlipSlide on your store
- Once installed, FlipSlide will appear in your Shopify Admin sidebar under Apps
That's it. The app runs entirely inside your Shopify Admin, so there's nothing else to download or configure externally.
What Happens After Installation
When you first open FlipSlide, you'll see a quick onboarding guide that walks you through the basics. The guide covers:
- How to create your first slider
- How to add it to your theme
- Where to find your analytics
You can dismiss the onboarding at any time and come back to it later from the Dashboard.
Enabling the Theme Extension
FlipSlide includes a theme app extension, which is the easiest way to add sliders to your store pages. In most cases, this is enabled automatically when you install the app. If you need to enable it manually:
- Go to Online Store > Themes in your Shopify Admin
- Click Customize on your active theme
- Look for FlipSlide in the app blocks section
