Managing Your Sliders

The Sliders page in FlipSlide is your central hub for managing all of your image comparison sliders. From here, you can create new sliders, edit existing ones, duplicate them, or remove ones you no longer need.

The Sliders Dashboard

When you open the Sliders page, you'll see a list of all your sliders displayed in a table. Each row shows:

  • The slider's title
  • Its current style (shown as a badge)
  • The date it was created

If you have more than 10 sliders, you'll see pagination controls at the bottom to navigate between pages. There's also a search bar that lets you quickly find a slider by name.

Editing a Slider

Click on any slider in the list to open it in the editor. You'll see all the same options you had when you created it: images, style, colors, labels, and more. A live preview updates in real time as you make changes.

When you've made changes, a save bar will appear at the top of the page. Click Save to apply your updates, or Discard to undo them and go back to the previous settings.

Duplicating a Slider

If you want to create a new slider based on an existing one, use the duplicate feature. Click the three dot menu on the slider row and select Duplicate. This creates an exact copy with all the same settings, images, and styling. You can then edit the copy without affecting the original.

This is especially useful when you want to create several similar sliders with slight variations, like different product comparisons using the same style.

Deleting Sliders

To delete a single slider, click the three dot menu and select Delete. You'll be asked to confirm before anything is removed.

You can also delete multiple sliders at once by selecting them with the checkboxes on the left side of the table, then clicking the Delete selected button that appears. Again, you'll need to confirm before the deletion goes through.

Deleting a slider is permanent. Any embed codes or theme blocks referencing that slider will stop working. Make sure you've removed them from your theme first.

Previewing a Slider

You can quickly preview any slider from the list without opening the editor. Click the Preview button in the three dot menu to see a popup with the live slider, including all its customizations and images.
